Today I decided to take another crack at blogging.
I started a blog with my sisters called "Our Permission to Fail" (ourpermissiontofail.blogspot.com).  It is about working together to get past this fear of failure that keeps us from doing the things we really want to do.  I am excited - instead of sitting around thinking about it, we are working to find a solution.  Nice!

Ugly room no more!

I am so excited today! We are in the final stages of transforming the Ugly Room into the Family Room! David and I primed white over the blood red walls last week, and last evening we bought carpeting change the God awful stick-down tile floor!
Who knows - in a day or so I may not even be afraid to go in there alone!!! Yahoo!!

Clam bake!

We are going to my sister-in-law's house for a clam bake! Never been to one before! Not many clams in Florida! I am so excited - these people know how to throw a feast!
I haven't has a non-fried clam since I was very young in Massachusetts, if ever? I hope they aren't snot-like, as oysters are.
I overheard my husband telling my brother-in-law about putting them in a bucket with salt and corn meal. Supposedly it makes these sad little clams spit out any dirt. That alone (picturing the little faces on the clams spitting out dirt) makes me want to say "no, thank you"!!!

JZIP - Beware!

I just got rid of jzip! This is a program that I downloaded in good faith, because it 'was needed' to unzip an SVG cut file that I downloaded. Whatever you do - do not download it! It is like a trojan horse, it comes in and takes over your browser with it's own address and faux-Google home page.
I had to go through Trend Micro, my internet security company (they are GREAT by the way) to get rid of it. Lesson learned.
